Technological Solution for the Energy Needs of Future Generations

Micah T. Mangione

Chief Executive Officer

Experience:
Micah is a driving force in innovation and business development at Geoternity. Since co-founding Geoternity in 2006, Micah has taken an active and leading role in the direction of the company. He is responsible for a large number of inventions and has taken an leading role in the development of many of the activies that Geoternity now relies upon for consulting perspective.

Technically, Micah was raised in the sciences and has pursued scientific processes throughout his entire life. This background has given him a detailed knowledge of Chemical Engineering and the Scientific Method. As a student, Micah took part in a half-dozen research projects from designing a statistical analysis package for photon counting of ultrafast laser responses at the BioDesign Institute to developing Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models for the Environmental Fluid Dynamics group at Arizona State University. Micah studied computational fluid dynamics under well-respected mathematician B. Nicolaenko and antenna design under the world-renowned professor C.A. Balanis at Arizona State University and brings a unique perspective to every project. He is responsible for writing many of the simulations and computational programs that Geoternity actively uses in research. His technical role in many projects revolves around mathematical and computational modelling of the dynamics of the systems under development. To this end, Micah is well-respected within academia and professional organizations alike.

As a manager, Micah is responsible for the Business Development activities at Geoternity. He is responsible for acquiring and completing Geoternity's earliest projects. He has been the Principle Investigator on 75% of Geoternity's projects to-date and unrelentingly seeks opportunities where ever they exist. Micah assumes all of the duties of a CEO in his normal function. That is, when he is not in the lab.

Under Micah's guidance, Geoternity grew from a two-man start-up in 2006 to healthy small business with development activities in 5 major technical areas. Geoternity is now a registered contractor with contacts and business activities in the Department of Energy (DoE), DARPA, Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Navy, the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Professional Preparation:
